Hello from Gothenburg :)
I just got in, and once again, the lack of customs and overall security in Europe baffles me! I didn't have to check in, no one asked me about my stay. . . it was Italy all over again! Well, it's because I flew from Germany, but still. . .
Anyways, just wanted to write a quick message while I wait for my bus in the airport. The plane was pretty amazing, all things considered. For both flights I had three seats to myself! The meals were all good, and mostly vegan (Lufthansa cheese sandwich shout out!) and I watched 30 Rock and Date Nigth (Brandon, thought of you with all the classic LL moments) read, and slept a tiny bit.
Next step is to bus to Boras, find my landlord, get my keys. . . and find out how small my apartment really is!
Much love from (sort of ) across the globe!
I moved to Borås, (bo-rohse) Sweden, where I am teaching French and English. Here I will write about my trials and tribulations, my ups and downs, the new places and faces, and every direction in between.

"Life is a daring adventure, or nothing."
Well, so far none of my friends have managed to steal or hide my passport, so it looks like I'll be heading to Sweden tomorrow!
My mom's suggestion to wear my winter boots and jacket so save suitcase space was met with laughter, and I am now full of delicious Chinese food and mostly all packed.
After an amazing send-off party this weekend and a plethora of over generosity from family and friends, I have said most of my goodbyes with quite a few tears. I think I'll manage with only two more cries before I go (Emma and parents) but the excitement is really starting to kick sadness's ass!
This time tomorrow I'll be on a plane (boo planes) heading to Frankfurt, and then should arrive in Gothenburg by 10:20 Goth time (I think 5 am our time). I must say goodbye to my cell phone, and a few other comforts.(my amazing comforter being one)
But, as my aunt Marie's card said. . . .
"Life is a daring adventure,
or nothing."
See you half the world away!
Dear any friends reading this (and fam), I love you, and will miss you lots!

One week!
Where did the time go?
Between camp, random work, Bluesfest, and seeing friends, I seem to have forgotten about both this blog and the fact that I am uprooting my life in about, oh, seven days.
Will I cry? Yes.
Have I started? A bit.
My mom and gf Danielle are throwing a going away party for me this Saturday. That will be a nice chance to see friends and family for a last big time before I spend too many nights by my lonesome on Nolhalgaga street (something like that. . . . truth be told, it will remind me of Lady Gaga!)
Two days of camp left! I will miss it, but not the stress! Emma and I are currently editing movies we filmed so we can show them on our Oscars day. Oh, camp.
So. . . . am I ready? I suppose only time will tell. I still need to get my plane ride music ready. It will most likely be mix of Canadian and Swedish artists. . . the old and the new!
ah!
